“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Our small groups consist of people experiencing life together. Whether the subject be parenting, dealing with addiction, Bible prophecy, or simply diving deeper into God’s word, small groups are an excellent way for us to take part in one another’s lives and grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ in a more personal setting. The Bible teaches us again and again that God has brought each of us into community with one another and we have each been equipped by God for a specific function within that community. That community is the church, the living body of Christ.
The goal, according to the Bible, is for us to interact with each other in such a way that we build one another up. Through our interaction we are to uphold one another in love. Here at Harbor, it is our prayer that God would strengthen each of us as we take the time to be the church.
