“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”

Psalm 127:3

Get those creative juices flowing at Spark Studios, where imagination is ignited and creativity is awakened! Whether kids are exploring their artistic side in the Bible Study Studio or Crafts Design Center, or laying down a track at the Music Sound Stage, they will learn, like King David, to use their talents to bring glory to God. Kids will discover that their creativity is a gift from the infinitely creative Creator who designed them for His glory.

God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis!

The Master Artist is working to redeem, reclaim, and transform us—His creation—to the original design He planned for us. We are His workmanship (Ephesians 2:10)—a masterpiece in process.

Spark your imagination and kick your creativity into high gear at Spark Studios!

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”     Proverbs 22:6

With the help of a committed staff, Harbor Kids provides a safe and secure environment where children learn the truths of the Bible and hear the good news of Jesus Christ presented in ways they can understand. They experience caring relationships with their teachers and peers, and have a lot of fun learning together.

We value your children and place a high priority on our ministry to them. Studies show that 85% of adults who claim to have a relationship with Christ entered into that relationship between the ages of four and fourteen. Children matter to God and they matter to us!

Rosie Clauer, Director of Harbor Kids, works closely with our class coordinators and teachers to create relevant and creative lesson plans that will effectively reach our children. Each of our volunteers* has a love for God, a love for children, and a passion for helping them pursue a relationship with their Creator.

Nursery

(Birth – crawling)

Our nursery provides a safe, clean and loving environment for the littlest ones at Harbor. We strive to create a place where infants feel loved and secure, and their parents/grandparents/guardians feel comfortable leaving them during the service. Our nursery volunteers* take great joy in caring for our little ones!

Toddlers

(Walking – 3 years)

Our toddler room provides a safe, clean and loving environment filled with toys, games, and songs for these littles ones. In addition to being well cared for, they are taught simple truths about God. Our toddler volunteers* take great joy in caring for our little ones!

Preschool

(3 years – Pre K)

Our Preschool class is a place where boys and girls can learn about God and what it means to obey and trust Him, as well as run off some of their energy! Through story time, crafts and games, they learn about God and His love for them. The volunteers* who serve in this ministry have a passion for reaching this age group with the message of the gospel and strive to communicate with them in ways they can understand.

Early Elementary

(Kindergarten – 2nd grade)

Our Early Elementary class is a place where boys and girls learn how and why to follow God’s instruction. Through age-appropriate curriculum designed to magnify God by studying His character in the pages of the Bible, our volunteers* are passionate about helping children better understand who God is and how they are to respond to Him.

Late Elementary

(3rd – 5th grade)

Our Late Elementary class offers an environment for our older kids to experience God’s love and learn what it means to live a life for Christ. Using age-appropriate curriculum, volunteers* who serve in this ministry are excited to come alongside parents and partner in the growth of their children in the areas of faith, character and understanding God.

Curriculum in each of our classes is accompanied by singing, crafts and games played both in the classrooms and in Harbor’s large “backyard.”
